Q. What's the deal with "the zero movement" advertisements around Australia right now?
A. 'The Zero Movement' was created by Coca-Cola to promote their new artificially sweetened soda, Coke Zero. For weeks Coke's connection to the zero movement was not made clear in their communication. Coke appears to have employed tactics such as offline SPAM and online SPAM to try to appear 'urban' and 'edgy'.
This site called Coke's marketing people wankers pretending to be a grassroots movement. In fact, that quote was published in The Age newspaper. Pretty soon Coke changed tactics and took responsibility for the zero movement frontgroup. Coke are yet to apologise for their SPAM. Read the whole story here.

A. All Coke Zero ingredients are now listed at this site. Two curious ingredients are the artificial sweeteners aspartame and acesulfame potassium. You may be interested in reading about these before you put them in your body.

A. No. According to this week's B&T magazine, "Coke's corporate view is not to respond to the online campaigns". Of course, that quote is from an article where Coke's marketing director, John Wardley, spends the entire interview responding to our online campaign.
